The current Fit is rated at 117 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque, while offering 28 mpg city, 35 mpg highway and a combined 31 mpg.
2014 Ford Fiesta has a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder EcoBoost engine that is currently in the new Ford Focus intended for the European market. U.S. Fiesta’s sole powerplant (a 120-hp, naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four). The tiny three-cylinder makes power similar to the U.S. model’s current lump-123 hp-but produces 36 additional lb-ft of torque.
Inside the 2014 Ford Fiesta is visible five-speed, but we expect the Fiesta’s available Powershift six-speed dual-clutch automatic to carry over, as well.
