The appearance of the new 2013 Honda Civic Type R has caused the Frankfurt auto show mostly positive reactions, but many have noticed that the engine lineup remained virtually the same, but the real news was the fuel-saving systems. No surprise appearance because of concerns about the upcoming Honda Type R version. Finally, a new generation certainly could not survive only on the atmospheric 2.0 liter engine under the hood.
However, the good news comes for Honda fans. New Honda Type R is definitely coming, and Mugena guys did a good job. When the car reaches the 2013th year, will be the first Honda Civic with a turbocharged 2.0-liter displacement. The only thing we can be a little upset by the fact that the engine will probably develop only 210 hp, and from 0-62mph (0-100 km / h) will accelerate for approximately 6.5 seconds. It seems that the mechanics have read the manual for the Golf GTI.
Some of the news can be seen as good and some as bad, but we can all agree that at least made a step in the right direction. And one more thing: the new Honda Type R offered only in 5-door form. Reasonable, is not it?
